ABOUT THE COURSE :
Building Information Modeling or BIM, is a workflow procedure. It is based on models used in the development, management, and construction of building and infrastructure projects. Using BIM software, projects are modelled and optimized by planning, designing, constructing, and running BIM models. BIM models are virtualizations of a project's whole lifecycle, from conception to conclusion. BIM enables the faster, cheaper, and more environmentally friendly completion of these projects.
WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR :
Engineers/Architects
Interested in BIM technology
Any student researching BIM technologies
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR :
Pooja has Masters Degree from Civil Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy. She is currently pursuing BIM research at IISc Bangalore, India. Having gained considerable knowledge in the field of structural engineering and interacting with the international forum on day-to-day basis, she is now exploring ways to contribute to the field of research in Civil engineering, through BIM. Also, she is working on BIM maturity in India as her dissertation. She is an Experienced Strategist with a demonstrated history of working in the industrial automation industry. Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Revit and management. Strong professional with a Master of Science focused in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
